• INTERNET (and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) - These permissions are used solely for fetching media files from direct links on internet resources when adding new files to the application.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE (and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_TYPE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK) - These permissions are used to register the application as a media player on your device. This allows control of media playback from wearable devices (such as Bluetooth headsets, fitness bands, smart glasses, and other devices with Play/Pause buttons for media control).
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (and WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) - These permissions are used for loading local files (selected by the user) into the application and for saving files from the application to the device (to a location chosen by the user). This applies to media files and backup files.
• WAKE_LOCK - This permission is used to prevent the phone from going to sleep and to keep the screen from dimming. It is applied when playing video files, while working with data backups and while converting unsupported media file formats to a more popular format, which is often required on the Android Go system.
